Contribute to Protecting an Ambulance with a Drone Jamming System
Russian drone teams are hunting ambulances and blowing them up. We can protect those ambulances. Ukraine Crisis Aid Group is working with another charity and a team of engineers to install drone jamming kits on civilian ambulances in Ukraine in cities within 50km/30miles of the front lines. The idea is to intercept the radio signal of the drone and confuse it or clone it, so that it can crash, usually harmlessly, instead of blowing up an ambulance, with paramedics and patient inside. Together, we can save paramedic lives and prevent a hospital's ambulance from being blown up.
An electronic drone jammer costs $6500. It can prevent most drone attacks. This saves the lives of the paramedics inside the ambulance, as well as saving the ambulance itself.
